Have you ever questioned your existence?
and the very reason why we exist?
I find it excogitating, yet daunting.
If one's existence is the state
of being in the world of actuality, then
why are we living in this world
where reality is full of inequality?
Isn't it too unfair?
Why do some exist to exploit, excoriate,
execrate, but being exonerated?
They ,may say they're just living.
but isn't it excruciating?
To exist, is to live
to have life but no more than life.
hence, it is death that's imminent,
that one's existence will meet its end.
No! they exclaim, there is fame! There's an excuse, there is history! though extinct, still... they exist?
Why certain names cannot fade?
Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi,
Theodore Roosevelt, Confucius,
Sadam Hussein, Adolf Hitler,
Plato, Socrates, Jose Rizal,
the Beatles, and Michael Jackson!
can't death expunge their existence?
Obviously it can't, but why? how?
To exist is to live,
that man is not a part of metaphysical scheme
but that every individuals
must create their own being,
each on his own, and in every specific situation
and environment.
Then life is what we made it
that we can set our own extent.
And we can name our own existence!
Some are expletive, and exotic
others came explicit and obscured.
There are people who finds power and fame ecstatic
normal individuals exert and perspire with goals.
Some were found excluded and exhausted
others extern, become heroic and martyrs.
And there are some who aims that
acknowledgment and achievements
get ahold of their proud existence.
Some do find it astounding,
yet I consider it exaggerating
for I never will try too hard.
I don't adhere anyone's recognition
I'll be part of noone's aspirations
I'm better off alone, cause
Solitary makes my existence.
